Hope to stock it not long after MACNA

Here's my modified Solana, drilled and plumbed into the basement sump that also serves my 300 gallon system. It's destined to be a clownfish & carpet anemone tank, but for now it's just holding frags and clams.

Just picked up a 50g cube setup. 24x24x20 and rimless. All made by the previous owner. I have to sell a couple other tanks before I can set it up. I'm super excited!!

It has an external overflow, slightly oversized stand, 15g sump, OM 2 way, canopy will float on the wall. 175w MH plus 2 T5's. I'm buying an SWC 120 cone skimmer for it.

Here's the build thread from previous owner! http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1433095&highlight=diy+cube

Custom 93(perfecto cube + extra hole + starphire), Walnut stained to match my poker table :) 5' workbench for electric, topoff and 2part... and poker chips...
ReefGeek T-5s (ati blue plus), Octopus reflector 250W Radium on an icecap (thinking about putting the switching-power (250, 250hqi,400,400hqi) Sunlight Supply Galaxy in though) but the IC ballast is so small and cute!. Alpha 200, Custom sump (ReefMania) with LR dark fuge, Ice cap moonlight, and Marinland bubble wand LED moonlights (don't let the brand fool ya, these rock for spotlights). BRS dosing pumps & twopart, 5stage RODI and reactor (for back up or filter expansion), Apex with the remote for the MP40s and 2 maxed out power strips, 2x 300w finnex heaters, little Prodibio to get the show running. MP40s. Tunze ozmolator, mag 950 return heck of a lot of patience from my wife!

I feel like Im just prostituting my tank out all over the place!!!! Nice to see such amazing Cubes out there and thanks for starting such an amazing thread, wished I had found it sooner. So here goes....My first tank was a 34g Solana tank that we built a custom bar height stand for that matched our office furniture. Here are some pics of it in our old apartment in the later years of its life"¦

It was a great tank, but unfortunately my appetite for a more room and larger tank could not satisfied with this setup. A while back I was in a LFS (MidWest Reefs in Kansas) and fell in love with a 30x30x24 tank. Some time went by and the tank never sold so owner of the store decided to raffle it off for a local saltwater organization fundraiser. After I flooded the box with raffle tickets, and I do mean flooded, I got "lucky" and won it!!!!! The nice thing is it came with a pump and sump!!!!! Here are some pics... sorry for the long post, I am kinda long winded....

Marineland 150g plumbed into the basement... I've had it up for almost 5 months (my first build). Now I'm broke... :) Working on my build album. I'm glad I went with a cube for my first tank.
