My colony just got clowned on! Is yours green or it that cream color? Both you and caddisfly get way more radial coralites than me, and my colony has some very good size to it as well. Crazy how different the coral looks in different systems.

Yeah they have to be that same coral. I'm sure hers came on the ORA plug just like mine. It's just a case of the same coral looking different in a different system. Hers looks more like Naka's colony, both in color and form.

It does look vastly different than mine, but they are def. the same coral.

This is my most recent shot(still really old) I took with a POS camera just to show it's size. It's bigger now and defnitely isnt that brown and white, thats the camera.

Mine is way smoother and has taken on a much different growth pattern.

That's interesting how different they are. I've noticed the same thing with my green suharsonoi/caroliniana. It came from a colony with classic long smooth branches but since it has encrusted and started branching, most of the new branches have far more radial corallites than the original. It would be very interesting to figure out what conditions promote the different growth forms in "deepwater" acros.

Ok just took this picture now that the lights are on.
I have this high up in my tank under 400 radiums with lots of flow.

myzislow the base is green much like yours but the rest of the body is light green mostly with blue tips.

Whisperer this is the same coral I got mine the first year they became available and it is still on the ORA plug.
