wow i like it very much!!please can you tell me how did you manage to put the midl maple??Heres my stand that im working on right now. It is the first time I have ever tried wood working so im rather proud of it. Only tools I had was a borrowed circular saw, miter saw, trim nailer and a jig saw.

I decided to skin it in Maple. Cherry looked nice but was out of my price range.
I had to settle for oak doors though.
Here it is skinned. My dads compressor crapped out on me just as I was getting ready to hang the final piece of trim. Set me back a day.

Stained and with first coat of finish on.
I went with cabernet for the stain color. It matches the red maple cabnets I have in throughout the house.
Just another 4 hours before I can put the next coat on. What grit sand paper should I use on polyurethane? After the second coat it will sit for about 15 hours before I can put another coat on.
