Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

Just completed the build (1300x500x500) and moved it into position tonight. A couple of construction pics with the electric light frame and tank. The light at the lowest position is about 8" from the water.

As you can see below the light is the same size as the inside measurement of the euro brace.

Do you use the electric light frame to adjust the light intesity via a controller? I.E. Start out at its highest point and slowly move to lowest where it stays for a few hours then begins moving back up. Or do you just use it to move the light out of the way for maintainance?

PM me for further details. However this is my second electric actuated frame. Yes it can be adjusted throughout the day however the controller needs to under where the light is. I have a 16" linear potentiometer which feeds the actual position back to a controller. That way you just tell the controller how far you want the light away from the water surface and it moves it up / down to suit.

Man alot of nice/fancy stands in here..If anyone lives in NC and could make me a stand like some of these i would pay someone to built me one..

the day has finally come, the stand is now in place and all leveled.

Here's mine. I built the stand and canopy framework and when we had our kitchen remodeled I had the cabinet guy "skin" them and do the doors and molding all matching our kitchen cabinetry, I did the painting. It's right in the kitchen/breakfast area so it really fits in well.

It took 1009 days from when I purchased the tank to day 1 of the cycle (life gets in the way doesn't it?). Pretty happy with it so far!
