very nice!!!!!!

@the deeb
Incredible!
Very sleek and sharp.

I always enjoy seeing when someone's well thoughtout designs come to a beautiful fruition.
And I can just imagine the amount of time you spent designing such a knockdown stand.
Great job.

The stand is definitely nice, fits the room and is one I'd be proud to own. The inginuity behind the knockdown assembly is outstanding. That's by far the most impressive part about that really nice stand...and I think that's saying a lot. Well done.

Still need to add trim, and touch up paint but almost finished.

Great work people!!! Just finished this shaker style up for a client. I milled everything myself from rough sawn stock. Select alder cherry stain and 6 coats of dull rub precat lacquer.

Very nice work.
Do you have a build thread for this Shaker style stand?

It doesn't get any more simple or cheap than mine:

Door are going to be glass with wood frames. The whole outside is getting stained satin black and the inside will be a glossy oak color. I plan to put LED toe kick light strips inside with a frosted cover to give it a very subtle ambient glow inside.

Looks good, is that just 2 different shades of stain on oak? what is the tank sitting on? I see some blue and something that looks like cottonballs... :)

and it looks like it will clash with the bamboo flooring... how does the big picture look?

Yes, 2 shades of stain on oak, there are actually three shades if you include the back door blocker panels and bottom inside the stand. All three shades match variations in the bamboo flooring. The tank is sitting on the plywood top but I tiled around the perimeter for 2 reasons, to add a little pop of color to all the wood and to create a waterproof catch drain for any errant sloshes or minor overflows. I was going for a beach theme, water, sand and rock. Here's a better shot. The glass tile looks darker in person, the flash just bounces off the white thinset making it appear lighter.
