The time of day was just right, midway through the Whale watching season that i have the honor of being an on-board naturalist for a local excursion, and this young Gray whale surfaced just SPOT ON in focus. It was amazing.

I'm like most of you, it changes all the time. Not always new images either. Sometimes I just cruise down memory lane and I am like "wow, - forgot about that one". How about 2 of my favorite "dark" images...
