I agree, Danano's austera (if that's what it is) is SWEET!

Here is an austera I aquired a few months ago. Unfortunately, the color has not held. It has faded to a washed out purple. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I can get the original coloration back on this one.

Thanks guys. I switched to bare bottom last November. I think the sps are doing better - or maybe I'm paying more attention to them now (i.e. check alk and calcium - as well as magnesium). I'm using Aquaspace light 2x250 watt 10K AB bulbs + 1x150 watt 20K AB bulb. Total of 650 watt. It's a shallow tank, 15 inch deep - 5x3 feet.
