A little late to the race, but here's my reef tank. It's been running since 2004. As you can see I like the LPS. I just love the way they move in the current. There's a pretty big Frogspawn in the upper right back area that I just fragged in half last week. It was bustin out the top and stinging the other corals.

Awesome frogspawn. How do you get it to grow like that. I've kept a lot of frogspawn but have never gotten it to increase in size

be nice to see some of the tanks a few yeas later...so if you still have your LPS dom. tanks plz post updates to your tank!!

Here is my 120 gallon LPS dominated tank

I moved my 56 gallon tall into a 120 gallon 2 months ago. Upgraded my AquaticLife T5 light fixture to the Reefbreeders Photon 48 and this is the system after 2 months.

I had a frogspawn in my 100 gallon and it pretty much grew just like the one in the picture. How? No idea honestly. It just kept growing new stalks and I never broke or fragged them. Before I know it the tiny frag I originally bought is covering half the tank :(

Ironically enough, I have a hammer coral that is starting to do the same thing. It was in a 29 gallon with rose bubble tips and a few other corals but wasn't doing that well. I moved it to another 29 gallon I have and it has since recovered and about the size of a softball (when I moved it originally it was probably 1/2 the size of a golf ball). Corals that size I stay way from now since I don't have a large tank. Mid day it gets really poofy - lol.

That is a money maker...frag and sell means more money for new corals! And keeps it the size you want it.
