Hi every one im thinking about getting a marine betta so please tell me all you know about them thanks.

I have one in a reef tank doing great, love that fish. Eats everything too pellets, flake and frozen and leaves my cleaner, blood red and coral banded shrimps alone. Very shy at first but will warm up with time. They are a type of grouper with an appitite to back that up when they feel safe

I have one in my 180 FOWLR. Very cool fish. It took him about a week to get used to things but now he is out and about all day long. He eats frozen and NLS pellets. I'll try to get a picture of him but I've got a full plate this weekend.

Any fish he was going to eat would have to be pretty small. Their mouths aren't that big.

great can you tell me about feeding how many times a week how to get them to stop eating live food and eat frozen. and will they eat krill?

I'm tagging along. I to am interested in marine betta. Well my mother is. I can't wait to see pictures.

I don't have a pic either but mine eats flakes, pellets, mysis and when I reach in with my tweezers with a silverside or scallop, he knows its for him.

This is mine. i have had him for a year now

Mine sits under a ledge all day looking cool, I am lucky he picked a spot I can see him otherwise I guess he would be pretty boring. I bought mine from a fellow reefer who had him well trained to come up and eat, he had lost most of his fish to some parasite in his tank but the beta lived, they are very hardy. I have small fish and shrimp in the tank and he doesn't bother them at all, he is not aggressive but no one bothers him either.

thanks for the pics and tracey2 thanks for the great info the one at the lfs has been there for a few weeks and is eating well so i hope i can get it.
