Show me your pink bottom!!!

I want to see some pictures of peoples various reef bottoms...namely colored ones. Does not having crushed coral hurt the buffer ability??

I used to have black sand but sold that tank...would like to see others!!

and BYW i did really like the black sand...it made diatoms inconspicuous (good during cycling) and green slime algea look almost cool.

Cutie: the red macro gives your bottom tan lines (that is if you go by my tan lines they=sunburn too darn Irish.)

hooterhead: nice scaping, and the mottled, thats the first time i saw in sand and i like it!!

Any others!? i need to get sand soon!

haha all kidding aside, i really want to see peoples colored sand beds, i read on a thread someone had pink...curious as to what it did with the corals!

my is white crush coral and live sand mix..but all the sand went to the bottom..so there was no point..but will be changing over to just white sand.. nice tank amber..how is you new lighting unit working for you..

My bottom is reddish brown because it's covered with diatoms. I guess that's what I get for using tap water. Might have to get an RO unit one of these days.

haven't gotten my light yet, they said it could take 10 days (excluding weekends) in the mail, soooo i'm figuring.....the end of next week it should come

i thought you had it already..all i can say is "once you go MH you nevergo back"...it worth the wait..but that sucks..that why i just go to the lfs and get it then and there..come home and plug and play..

yeah but buing it on ebay saved me alot of money. If i bought it from liveaquararia, marinedepot ect..I would have payed about $40 more and if i got it from the LFS i would have payed about $100 more. So i guess i can wait, it is hard though lol But my bigger tank is coming in, in two days
