Recently, I've been on a plate kick. Here are some of mine. Show me what you got, curious to see what's out there.

Same as last one, slightly different time of day (I have solar tubes, so coral color appears different at different times of the day).....or, could be the glass was cleaner when I took the pic!

Wow beautiful! Some of the nicest I've ever seen. Can I ask where you purchased them? It looks like you have them in a course grade of sand.

My orange plate is sitting on a plastic lid for now but want to put it in the sand. Do you or anyone else know if the super fine sand is appropriate for a plate? I've read that sand deposited on them is a big no no. And the super fine sand can shift.

I keep mine on relatively fine sand, certainly not the sugar fine as mine is a mix of standard (not coarse) and sugarfine for my wrasses. If they get sand on them they expand to get rid of the sand - never seems to be a problem.

This is the coolest plate ive ever saw. Where did you get that and is it called "eye burning plate"? Id love to get one is it normal plate coral price or does it command a premiun due to the extravagant coloration? Anyway heres my orange short tentacle.... I love it and cant wait to get more!

I got it at a LFS and it wasn't cheap but wasn't overboard. They charge about 60-70$ for a more standard purple base green polyped plate coral and this one was 180$ so fairly normal LFS prices, i'm sure you can find them cheaper online. I only called it eye bruning because it remindes me of the sun.
