oh and if you are thinking about buying T5's dont do so from Sunlight Supply...worst company i have ever dealt with and not just in aquarium industry but overall

SLS for me, 4x24w (1-AB, 2-BP, 1SA), but I've got the IceCaps too, just not set up yet, but wow IceCaps are way brighter, hotter, and short-lived. With the good comes the bad, lol.

Nice tank newskool!! I think I remember reading a few of your posts before buying my Tek light back in Feb.

Here's a quick shot from a while back. Don't have many good shots here right now. I run 4x54w w/ 1 GE 6500k, 1 11k geismann, 2 actinic + bulbs.

Here is my custom 130G tank, it is lit by 8 54w T5's overdriven with Icecap 660 ballasts and SLR reflectors.

I don't have a canopy and wasn't that thrilled about putting holes in the ceiling to hang MH pendants. That was almost two years ago and since then I set up a 30 cube right next to this tanks and have a 250MH pendant (drilled into the ceiling)! Ha, this hobby changes you!

Left side (The acro on the left was almost completely white about 2 weeks ago when I bought it. Now it's turning purple):

h20cooled: I love that red acro you have in the 4th picture. Any idea what it is?

Not sure what it is, it not so much red as a dark pink, the tips are a light green in color also.

I thought I'd try some of the ATI's and the Super Actinic on my last order. Replaced all bulbs after 1 1/2 years with the last set.

My growth in the T5 tank is unbelievable. I lost all my acros 1/01/06 with a power failure. I was lucky to have a nano running and fragged little pieces of what I could save before all death. These are the frags, plus some new frags that I added recently. I've never bought a colony.
