I'm particularly happy about this piece. This Australian Scolymia was in very rough shape at the lfs. It had sat and deteriorated for what seemed like months. The condition and price point kept prospective buyers from purchasing it. The tissue was receding and skeleton was protruding. I struck a deal with the lfs and it has since bounced back.

Nah....don't look at it like that. Every piece in your system has some meaning for you. You picked it out for a reason. It's different for each of us. As for 'cherry' pieces....we all had to start somewhere. Use the thread to inspire and as research

They are all opened up nicely, that was just to move them to shoot them for stocktake. They didn't like opening up in the photo tanks! Put them back into the holding tanks and they were fully inflated again within five minutes"¦ :hmm4:
