Thats a sweet mantis tank. Does your mantis try to catch that Dartfish?

My turn to share:

thanks doode!! yalls tanks aint tooo shabby!!!

Neo is sooo cool lookin all blue and such!!

my fire fish and my mantis do well togeather.

i chalk it up to always having somethin easier for Bane to catch in the tank.

he loves the mexican turbos!

Lets see some more mantis pride!!!!

If I'm thinking right, Neo is a Neogonodactylus Curacaoensis. Thats where his name came from anyway, but I think that orangey pink spot between his eyes gives it away. I went to my local fish store on my birthday and happened to spot him in a little plastic carrier inside a bigger tank. He was only about 1/2 and inch long so I almost missed him. It was just a lucky find for the most part, I haven't seen anymore mantis shrimp for sale out here in Utah for about a year now.

Neo has the same greenish blue tail markings as shown in these pictures:

LOL, actually I did love me some Matrix back in the day, but I think Morpheus would have been a better mantis name.

Thor looks like a female chiragra to me, i thought that's what the pink generally denoted on that species?

regardless - your mantises are awesome, and nice tanks for them too. I really really like that neo!

I have no FTS of the peacock presently, but the n.wenn has been moved to the main reef (I just moved last week and decided heck with it, what harm could it do?) and he LOVES it in there, duh!

pre-move:

the middle tank (dsb on left, shallow on right) held l. macualta and n.wenn - top tank is where n.wenn is now. I changed the 6.6 to a ten and gave the l. mac the whole thing.

the zebra has an awesome layout now, need more pics i guess! so much to do so little time....

Tanks been setup for a lil over a month so some of the base rock has yet to become live. I've got about 20 lbs of live rock in the sump though. Don't have a name for mine yet, and although its a female, I'm thinkin Clubber Lang. :D

did a lil re-scapin this weekend, so this counts right? :D

i opened up my floor plan in anticipation of more LPS,

used some aqua putty to start building a "Clove shelf". i plan to get the rocks all sturdy like, and then use the aqua-putty to extend my clove rock out and over the sandbed.

but, here is a a FTS and a FSTS! (im proud)
