old pic...lost him this summer in a crash. :(

he actually showed up one day as a hitchhiker believe it or not, and quickly became my fav as he had more personality than most people I know :)

Sorry to hear but thats a pretty awsome hitch hike, my only hitchhiker was some giant grab that ate my yellow watchmen.

has anyone heard of an indian blenny or have any pics of one? A friend of mine picked one up that was labled that, but after i did a search, i found nothing.

Blennys are probaly one of the weridest fishes with the werid mouth and the cirris. But overall very entertaining fish. I wonder what the cirris are for?

Yep. It's a rare type of blenny, also known as the read streaked blenny I believe. Cirripectes Stigmaticus, I think this is the correct name for them. They are a maroon colour with a light grey marking through out its body. I used to own one for about 18 months, but it passed away, I think it had a disease in it's gills :(

HTH

Thanks for posting the pic. I didn't know how, hence the link.

They are even better in person. I miss mine so much, like most blennies, had a great personality.

cheers

Chris
