Hey there,

Lets see some pics of everyone's propagation tanks/systems!

I'll get pics of mine soon, I still need to get my light but everything is in another tank ready to go. Should have light tomorow. For now here are my stats:

15g AGA - 24"L x 12"W x 12"H
Aquaclear 50(200) W/surface skimmer
Powersweep 212
Seachem Seagel(Activated carbon and phosphorous remover)
150W DE Ushio 20K
1/2" LS
No Idea on LR amount, will be around 10lb though

12 Blue-leg Hermits
4 Nassarius Snails
4 Trochus Snails
10 Cerith snails
1 Sally Lightfoot possibly, depending on algae
(I do NOT want algae in this tank! Lol)
Sixline Wrasse, Might throw in in the future, but thats why LR amount is low because I wont have any bioload really, and six-line wont be much, and cleanup crew and filtration is good

-Will have about 16-20 types of zoos
-A few SPS(Caps, Birdsnest, Acros, maybe others)
-A couple Ric colors
-Thin-barred Xenia
-GSP
-Might add more as I get more $$$ but thats it for now

I'll have pics up by end of the week.

Lets see everyone's tanks!

Nice Setup Rob!

Yeah, 15g is kind of small but I cant really afford much right now(should have gone 20L though) and the 33g is my moms(I 'gave' it to her since I didnt want to pay for the MH and stuff lol).

Next setup I make is going to be a propagation rack with seperate systems for Zoos, Softies, LPS, SPS(all seperate systems, not plummed together).

Rick: I look forward to seeing your pics!

Anyone else got pics?

Chris

Cool Setup Rick!

I just got my light, all set-up! Woohoo! Corals are going in tonight! I'll have pics by tomorow night.

Frag tank

Frag tank

It's really not much to look at, but it does it's job very well..the tank is 30"l x 12"w x 6" h. right now a I have several frags of xenia growing out. Lighting consists of a Hamilton Tech 2x55 10k-03 actinic PC's. this is a real nice setup for someone that has limited space along with a small budget...:)

Are those xenia as big as they look?

Rick,

How sturdy are the troughs, especially near the middle? How are they supported? It looks like you have them on a wood stand.

Have you thought about insulating the sides and bottom?

Looks great!

Here is a pic of my 16 x 16 x 16 frag tank, which is looped off my 125g display. It is lit with an Ushio 10000k fired by a 250w Icecap ballast...
