Wow :eek1:really nice set up, I wish I had the room to do that.

explor3r,

Nice and clean set up you have there

What do you do for humidity control ? Is that room open to the rest of your basement?

Thank you, I have a dehumityfier working every 3 days, a extractor fan working 24/7, open windowns in the summer and now on the winter open just a lilttle bit and I have 2 fans pushing air from both ends of the basement, as well I used this paint that protect the walls from mold.
When you come down to the basement dont smell fish or corals, the air is very clear.

:beer:Awesome setup! do you by any chance sell those corals :p

RyS123 - that is one awesome setup!
Oldude - I use to have a setup very similar, nice!
Explor3r - WOWWW... You have some amazing colors going on in there. VERY NICE!

i was wondering what you are using for circulation in the tanks. i'm in the process of setting up a 48x30x10 tank and not sure what to use for water circulation/movement. i'll be adding another tank of similar size shortly as well. are you using regular power heads, mp, or some type of wavemaker? great looking tanks by the way.

My humble little prop set up has three tiers - two holding/grow out tanks & a sump below.
2nd tank below running T5's - here's just a couple of pieces

The frag tanks you posted show some very nice growth. I am curious as to what specific T5 lighting you are running on them.

Thanks,
Richard

Explor3r. Amazing setup. Are your lights on the right tank the same distance from the water as your other two tank. Also, do you run the lights at the same intensities for all three tanks?

Thanks everyone for the positive comments is been an amazing experince building all this set up and learning during the process.
This came as a hobyy which I feel very passionate about and is becoming a "small on the side bussines " I think I should not comment on it or promote it to respect RC rules but I do sell and trade.
For water movement I used the return pump flow mix with some just regular power heads. The most flow is on the SPS system with 2 koralias 1040gph I think with the new controler creating a very nice flow alternative with the return pump flow.
The LPS/ Softie/mushroom /zoas system has very moderate flow but in the last weeks I added more flow to keep the bottom of the tank clean of anything and healthy, I plan to replace them with wave makers probably MP40s.

The lights were inicially set up at the same high but after observing the corals growth and coloration I decided to raised them a bit more, light intensity is different on every tank as well being the SPS tank the strongest one follow by the zoas/mushroom/softies tank and the lowest level of light on the LPS tank....
cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool!
Do you mind sharing what lights, and bulb combos your using on all 3 tanks? And are you using 1 pump manifolded or 3 pumps. 1 for each.

And what pumps are you using?
Thanks again!!!

The litghts are AI Sol Super blue which consist in whites, blues and royal blue.
At the beggining for the system that has 2 tanks I was using a reeflow hammerhead 5800gph which it was very strong and after sometime I changed that for an Eheim 1262 which is not as strong as the reeflow but it does the job..(I had to add 2 power heads on each tank to increase flow)
For the SPS tank I just use an Eheim 1262 ..

I have been lucky to discover Explor3r' locally and can tell you his setup is beyond comparison. His setup certainly puts LFS to shame when it comes to the layout his tanks and quality of his corals. if you are ever in the Toronto area, you owe it to yourself to see his setup in person.

The T5 tank is an ATI 6 bulb fixture with 4 Giesman 12k bulbs and 2 blue plus bulbs.
