Im already planning a move up to a larger system (current one is a 20 long). I have a good sump tank (50 breeder), a 90 gallon angle iron stand and i can get a 48x18x12 in trade from someone who owes me a favor.

So right now im thinking, 45 low frag tank (48x18x12), dumping into a the breeder tank for the sump.

My plan for nutrient control is to use bio pellets, and if that doesnt work out to my liking ill go to vodka since i know what to expect with that stuff.

I have another tank i might plumb into this, which is roughly 30 gallons (30x18x10). This would bring my total system volume up too about 125. With 125 gallons of bacterial driven filtration, anyone have a good skimmer recommendation? External would be nice, but i can make it work if not.

my prop tanks nicer then my display . 120gal 48x48x12 . connected to my main system .. right around 400gl ..

They are the epiled hybrids from ebay. I worked a group buy with some friends and a lfs, and got a really good deal. The seller was AC-RC.

I seen (in person) a guy who is using 30 watt mult-chips. I had never realized they provided enough PAR, but he said honestly he had to raise them with his acros as he was burning stuff all the time. He has some 16' tubs that used to be lit with 8 30 watt multi's and a few T5's for actinic. He ended up using 6 multis just to provide some lower light areas.

Truly impressed.

Well, I get my CO2 tank filled at the fire extinguisher store, but it takes 6 months at 1 bubble of CO2 at the time to drain it. CO2 fire extinguishers last maybe 15 seconds so it'd go too fast and what would you do, spray it into the display?
