I am wondering if it is a juvenile Vlamingii.

Was thinking that too but i havent seem them with spots that dark before.

I can see them fine. I am wondering if it is a juvenile Vlamingii.

Definitely not a Vlamingii (although that's the most similar looking tang). The spots are dark green instead of blue and are circles instead of angular. Also the head shape isn't right. My tang also has HUGE dark eyes. The coloration is also wrong for a Vlamingii, with a green and purple flank (hard to see in the pic).

Thanks,

Art

This is my A. Japonicus Japanese/White Face Tang. I saved him from Deathco. He was horribly covered in ich and is back to beautiful again. He is still in Hypo QT, is eating well and begs like a dog for food everytime I pass by.
