Show size coral for sale!!!

We have had this coral for some time now and grew it from a small frag. It is out growing our tanks and we do not want to frag it for fear of it killing the other tanks inhabitants. We need to sell it if any one is intrested make an offer.

how big is it

7 to 10 inches accross depending on how far its cuped upward that day sometimes its narrow and tall and others its flat and wide. The polyps are about one inchs long.

What is it? I'm sorry if I sound stupid . I think it would go good in my 120, if I could only get this XENIA to stop growing, man it takes over . Please let me know the name of the coral, and how much you would take.

Its a told stool leather a very very nice one at that.... We have had it a little over 2 years now and in that time it went from smaller then a golf ball to HUGE we got it at our first reef meeting.


As far as price im getting blown up from all over the country on people wanting me to ship it..... I would rather sell local for fear of killing it in shipping its so larger to ship it over night would be $$$$$$. I sent a response back to phill hoping we could work somthing out. But the offers I have been reciving are around 75 to 100 pluss shipping which is fine with me i just worry about shipping it.

I thought it may be a toadstool. I got one from Phil about a year ago, it started out about the size of maybe a large marble or ping pong ball, to now a beautiful size and is starting to fan out. I will have to get some pictures and post. Phil has amazing stuff, every single thing I have ever gotten from his has done wonderfully.

It looks like it has a lot of yellow in it and shaped like a pagoda? All my toadstools have a crown on top, knobby shaped or look like a devil's hand. I have been keeping my eye on a pretty yellow toadstool in Barry's wave making tank. Is this the same type? Phil, if you decide to frag it I would like a piece!

Keep it away from any LPS and watch it when you mess with it - nothing can produce more slime that one of those.

It is a large sarcophyton of the common variety. There are many different varieties of sarcos, green, long polyps, yellow, even the rare blue. It is a nice sized tank raised one IMO.
