I am thinking about adding a piece or two of branch rock to my scape to use some of the vertical area of my tank and give more places for corals.


show us how you incorporated branch rock in to your scape.

I added another small shelf to the bottom left.

FYI this stuff grows GHA like crazy unless you cook it.

Reel North i must say that looks pretty amazing. I would hsve never thought of using branch and shelve like that. I didnt use much of it. Only 2 branch pieces in my 55.

The difference in flow is amazing. I was using 2 gyre, with 2 mp40 before when I did the classic too much rock and rock piles. I had so many dead spots.

I just added 2 1" sea swirls and have the 2 mp40 still. The only upside to the hair algae is I can really see the flow lol.

Moved a gyre to my frag system and will sell the other.

Fish love the open layout too!

did you use BRS tonga branch or other branching rock?

I do like your tank I was searching and it came up.
