*Show Your Aggressive Fish*

This is just another one of those threads where you can share photos of your prized aggressive fish, or peaceful fish in FOWLR tanks.

I'll start:
6 month old Brownbanded Bamboo pup (8"):

Thanks! We had bought it advertised as a Miniatus but I really think it's a Louti Cherry instead. This guy is growing REALLY fast though. Towards fall, these guys will be moved into a new 360g, 96x24x36 to give them more room.

Thanks Chad! You too! We also have a snowflake eel in this tank and I have a video that we made during feeding time. The eel actually came out and chased everyone else around so he could get the food.

I just realized that we didn't have the grouper yet when we made this video. We also added 100 lbs of LR and put a black back on the tank since then.

He's about 16" now. We got him as a baby, about 7". He usually isn't that aggressive. He usually waits for the food to come to him.

What do you feed your shark? That bad boy has some SHARP looking teeth!

Oh, those aren't her teeth, they're called barbels. Kinda like little whiskers for sharks.

I feed her fresh shrimp, fresh squid, frozen krill, shark formula food here and there, and a few other things.

I believe it! I also have a foxface in my predator tank for algae control and the clown is after him often. The foxface seems to have buddied up with picasso and shadows every move picasso makes. Clown is intimidated by picasso.

Wow! I didn't know that. She sure is pretty! Do you have all the fish in your pictures in the same tank?

Thanks! I think so too! Yes, all the fish pictured above are in my main tank together. I finished my new rock structure today! I used Great Stuff expandable foam to make everything stay put. I'll be sure to post pics tomorrow. It probably won't be in the tank for another few days, just to be sure it is "aquarium safe."

Cool! I didn't know you could use that foam for holding rocks together. Great Idea!!! In a few weeks I'm going to start aquascaping my 450 and I'll remember that. I'll be looking for the pics.

I really like the clown triggers but mine is starting to show aggression. We keep them well fed so it doesn't get too bad. The grouper seems to be taking over the tank though. But he doesn't show any interest in the other fish so leaves them alone, and everyone else leaves him alone. It's so cool to feed the predator tank. Put a silverside on a feeder stick, lower it into the water, there is a brilliant flash of red and the silverside is gone! The grouper is lighting fast.

Heres 2 of my prized fish out of many. These just happen to be two of my favorites!

Its my pair of Whitley's Boxfish!

Sorry the pictures arent the best. I dont have my good camera right now..

Thanks Erik

OK! That's a new one for me! I've never seen one of those before. Beautiful!!!

I love fish like these. They just seem to know that nobody is going to mess with them so they just swim around, taking it easy, looking all relaxed, no matter what else is in the water with them.
