New additions to the 110 gal.

Male/ Female pair of bluejaw triggers. I have been wanting a pair of these guys for a long time. Hard to find in a smaller size.

Leopard Wrasse. To my surprise was out and ate some meaty foods this morning, generally these guys disappear for 7-10 days before they make an appearance.

Tiger Goby. Cool little fish to sift the sand. He is still a bit shy (only been in tank for 10 hours) but has meticulously cleaned the back corner of the tank, can't wait for him to go to work on the rest of the tank!

Love the Leopard Wrasse! Dennis got one today at his shop w/his order and a Radiant Wrasse. I wanted either one but the boss got sick today. :sad1: Oh well, maybe next time. More updates on the Wrasse! From what I have read, they can be very finicky. It sounds that you got a well acclimated one. Actually, your other new "family members" are great additions as well.

Yes, the leopard wrasses are a bit finicky to take. I have tried about 4 other times and really only got one to stick (until ich infestation of entire tank wiped out all livestock). I have noticed today that my mystery wrasse is giving the leopard a hard time. Mystery's are notorious for being jerks and beligerant. Hopefully the can figure it out soon before the leopard has a heart attack, or jumps.

Leopard Wrasses are beautiful fish and one of my favs. Did you pick up the wrasses from Saltwater World?

Yeah! I got a McKoskers Flasher Wrasse from Dennis and he is the sh!t! He is very healthy and beautiful fish. The first Mckoskers died of a heart attack, my six line beat the holy snot out of him! Dennis got another one and i had too try again. Again, the six line was beating the snot out of this one. I had enough, got the six line out of there, shook the sh!t out of him and sent it back to Petco. LOL

Ever since, I have been hooked with the Wrasse species because of their color variations. Sorry to hear about your Ich outbreak. Losing your pets especially these wonderful fish is hard to endure. One of the great things about Wrasses is the vast majority of them are not prone to Ich. Where did you get yours? I am interested because if yours is feeding of the bat and not hiding, damn, you got a great one!

The McKoskers is a pretty fish, I hope you have good luck with him. Ive never really been a huge fan of the sixline mostly because they can be mean little buggers. Seems like a lot of wrasses can be like that.

I have not seen my leopard today, and Ive been looking, I don't have a good feeling because the mystery was really giving him a hard time yesterday. I really hope he is just acclimating in peace. I know they can bury themselves under the sand bed for days at a time. Its funny though because once they are acclimated to your tank and inhabitants they are like clockwork when they get up and go to bed every day, very interesting.

Oh, the leopard came from The Coral Reef. They get very healthy livestock these days.

Here is my attempt to post pics of my 30 gallon oceanic cube here at the lab, aka work. I have a pair of clowns, firefish, vanderbilt chromis and diamond goby. Coral banded shrimp, rock flower anemone and two large feather dusters. Many hermit crabs, snails, mushrooms (red, blue striped, fuzzy, hairy, etc.) and hammer coral.

Thanks! They are one of my favorite fish and he is by far the office favorite, aka Dr. Diamond. Second place is Crustee James T. the coral banded (they all have names). I have had really good luck (knock on wood) with this tank and have had more fish for a long period of time compared to my 75 gallon. My equipment is simple, don't overfeed and I keep up with the water changes.

We now spend most of our time at work sitting in front of the tank
My boss once threatened to put a curtain up around it, but now we just watch in the morning during feeding time. It is a good way to share the hobby with my co-workers and the occasional drug company sponsor.

Justin, I hope you get another clown that will live for six years. Sorry about your loss

like i told my 4 year old....well fish just die sometimes. so now she tells all the daycare kids that all her fish died and that they just die.

the funny thing is she had named them all and i didn't know all the names untill they were dead.

I finally got around to doing the LED setup on my Fluval Edge. Looks much better than I anticipated

The light is very ELOS-esque in color

So I should be hitting up Dennis pretty soon to start filling it up, this is going to be a very minimalist zoa/ric garden

Yes, since his last two molts he's grown back his appendages and is as cocky and proud as any of my previous ones, although this one has a more peculiar personality, he gets along great with the blue devil in the tank, I'll snap a new pic today to show how much brighter his colors have gotten

Well the blue LEDs just plug into the stock halogen sockets. The 4 LEDs were quite simple to do, what would you like to know? I didn't make a build thread but I'll be happy to take more pics
