How long does it take for Zoos to multiply? I bought a small rock that had about 5 stalks on it about 3 months ago. It has doubled in size to about 10 stalks now.Do They spread rapidly? I glued the little rock onto a huge piece of carribean and it looks to be spreading to it. Id say the colony isnt any bigger than 2" .They are cool green with yellow dots in the middle - just wish they grew faster .

I love the metallic-looking zoanthids. Very nice colony there! I have some copper/golds that don't photograph nearly as well as your that are still re-coloring from spending too much time under too little light... /sigh

The copper/golds I mentioned (not quite back to their full glory)...

Here's one of my latest frag-additions. Got it as 'Yellow-greens' and when they first opened in the tank they were all orange. Two weeks later two of the polyps had turned fully yello-green while the center polyp looks to be getting 'assimilated,' borg-style...

Another interesting pic. This one has the world's laziest cuke grown-over with rose-colored zoanthids...

Ahhhh... "Warm-bathtub-alone" polyps. Gotta love 'em!

EDIT: On second look those are different... inverted "bathtubs"... very pretty (we should arrange a swapping of morphs sometime down the road...
