Project Reef,

Got that Fungia from Steve Tyree (in a trade for PM frags). It was the one he got in from the South China Seas last year, selling for $500 eek: ) a piece. Crazy, but at that price, they all sold within a week. I was stunned.

Man, $500 Fungia! Holy smokes. It's true though, I've never seen one even close to that in appearance. Is it beneath halides? I've had trouble in the past with Fungias under halides. What conditions do you have it in? Very nice clams, BTW...

Disappointed!

I wrote to your company after hearing that you had some nice clams in and since I didn't see any prices so I sent a e-mail on the 29th and someone named Joy said that the prices were listed on the site. Well we know that is not the case, so I wrote back on the 30th and again asked about pricing and some other question and I still haven't heard a word!!! Guess I won't be buying any clams from Harbor if I can't get a price.

Have you tried to call them? Im sure Harbor gets flooded with emails daily. If you decide to call them, Im sure you can get prices easily. Why dont you give them a second chance. You wont be disappointed.

Sorry you had some mis-communication issues with Joy.

Unfortunately, we are closed on Tuesdays, which is when you sent your second email, and we haven't had a chance to finish replying to all emails yet. We are only two people who get flooded with a bunch of emails, telphone calls, and orders to ship each day. We try to always respond within 24 hours but it's not always the case. If you need more of an immediate response, telephone calls are always best. Email is not always a very effective communication tool.

I have mine on the substrate (obviously) as far away from the halides as physically possible. It's doing great, keeping it's bright neon orange/yellow color. I love it. No way I would pay $500 for it, but it's definitely a looker.
