Well Mike, I'm going to be adding a 280g in wall tank. I think the wall is load bearing - like that means something to me - LOL. I have to wait a few months before doing anything with the wall but just checking around about hiring the experts. I'll also need to build a stand for the 280 - I have some ideas and I don't think it will be that big of a deal but you never know.
That's what I was concerned about - load bearing, roof falling - didn't sound good to me.
You're so funny - yes what the tank will be sitting on. I'm thinking of kind of the same thing Joey did but I'm going to have book cases on both sides and the bottom will have cabinets. I want the tank to be located above the cabinets. I want the book cases to also be flush with the wall in the living room and the cabinets out about a foot or so with part of the tank on it. Big job but it should be fun!
Kind of - I'm making a fish room in the garage that will have all the equipment, plumbing, lighting etc. in the living room will be nothing but a nice book case with a tank in between and cabinets below.
You guys are way to funny. Built into the wall. Not a pass through or anything like that. Here is my idea. This is all in the wall and I have to go into another room through a door to get to the back of the tank
Oh yes - Don't want to give away to many of my special features right now but . . . like l said I might need to hire out some expert advice - don't want the roof come down on everything .
Yes thats the correct way to go for sure .... I am actually working in the area by you, if I happin to know I am getting off earlier I can come and just take a look see...
