I have a tiny frag which is a VERY slow grower. Had it for over a year...took that long to even start to colour.

I love the metallic hues you get in these. Yours still looks good Aqua80. Any idea is its the 20K or 30K Lokani? Or are they completely different? My tiny frag looks like your first photo.

don't know exactly what kind I got... sold to me as a purple monster !
for the metallic hue I believe it is enhanced by MH. Many corals did not had those kinds of hues when I was under full T5.

I was loving it until I added 150 watts of leds around the outside of my mh fixture. It went from blue to poop:uhoh2: it's still very large.

Thanks I got a free1/2 frag from a friend that got it from divers den and had on bottom of tank under a radium 400 at first and then to a 20k xm one of the fastest growers I have had. Has a blue look under the 20k xm and purple under the radium

Yes royal blues 3watts and some reef blues 3 watts . Got a free 1/2 in. frag of this coral from a friend and first had it under a radium400 and then 20k xm it has a blue look under the xm and purple under the radium. This was a fast grower for me.

mine is no colored right now and not sure why...

well I knew something was off... the whole colony RTNed on me yesterday... could not save a single frag...

i find lokanis to be a very finicky coral.. very sensitive to changes in water conditions..
