so i picked up a peppermint shrimp last week and the lfs owner told me he had had this one for a long time and it had already had baby's once. i didn't ask him too much about it so i dont know what they look like. so i was wondering if anyones got pics? i just went and checked my tank. the lights are off and theres tons of lil white things blowing around in the current. there all the same shape so its not debris. just wondering if thats what it is. too bad my fish aren't up. i wouldn't hafta feed em for a couple days. i'm thinking the hob filers are going to take em all out. i only have lr rubble in there but i'm sure the pump will do it.

get two shrimps so you have a continuous supply of zooplankton

you got any pics of them just born? should i turn the lights on so the corals can get a snack?
Lysmata larvae hatch out from eggs that are carried by the parent shrimp. There's a good chance some larval shrimp will survive in your system for at least a few days- especially if you have a refugium attached.
