Shrimp compatibility

Hater of Hair Algae
I'm wondering what shrimps could live together in a 90g barebottom. I currently have 1 peppermint shrimp in QT w/ my convict tang, although he performed cleaning for the tang once, I haven't seen him do it again. I know that skunk/scarlet shrimp is good for cleaning parasites but I had one once that ate all the flesh off of 6 chromis. So I'm weary of the skunk/scarlet shrimp. I definitely want a blood/fire red shrimp and wonder if they are compatible with pep. shrimp and if I can have more than one. I know coral banded are popular but I've heard they aren't always reef safe, is this true?

How about a pistol shrimp for your red color.

Then get some cleaner fish if you realy need someone to get the parasites off you other fish.

I have a 20 reef, mostly zoas and softies and in that tank I have the largest peppermint shrimp you every did see with a Blood shrimp and a coral banded shrimp. They all live peacefully together. I have herd of the coral banded shrimp killing other shrimp species but they all live very happily together. In my main tank which is a 65 I have a tiger pistol shrimp paired with a yellow watchman goby. He's also pretty cool and I see both of them all the time. The only thing is the pistols need sand to make their burrows in.

Thanks. It's good to know compatibility shouldn't be an issue in my 90g. I think along with the peppermint shrimp I'll add the blood shrimp and maybe a coral banded. I'm planning on having only about 20-25 hermit crabs so I think everyone should have enough to eat. Thanks Again.
