Setting up new tank. Going to stock invert friendly fish. I'd like to have at least one goby/shrimp pair and I already have 1 peppermint shrimp. What types of shrimp can I combine and how many? Which type will spawn and create food for the fish?

For that size tank you might want to get another Peppermint shrimp and maybe a couple Cleaner shrimp as well. If all goes well, adding a pair of Fire shrimp might be doable too. GL.

Btw, if conditions are right they should all spawn in your tank.

It might.. I had a CBS, two cleaners & a Fire shrimp in my old 60 gallon tank and everybody got along fine. Just be prepared to remove the CBS if it becomes a problem. GL.

I have pairs of Stenopus tenuirostris and S. cyanoscelis in my tanks and they are fish and invert friendly. Also no issues with other shrimp or crabs in the tanks. Only issue with them is that they like to hide during the day.

S. hispidus will be out during the day, especially when kept in pairs. But they are sometimes a bit aggressive towards smaller fish.

Cleaner shrimp will be out a lot but can get quite annoying, especially with stealing food out of anemones, zoas or LPS.
