shrimps and ricordeas

hi all

does any of you keep shrimps together with your rics?

im thinking of getting some sexy shrimps

or a few spotted cleaner shrimps (periclimenes yucatanicus)

would that work?

i have 1 pair of ocellaris clowns and 1 pair of banggai cardinals in the ric tank too.. dont want the shrimps to get eaten..

hope someone has any experience to share

I have a fire shrimp and a cleaner shrimp with mine in the same tank. I have no problems...

I have no problems here either with my cleaner, fire, or peppermint shrimps....as far as rics go.
But besides that, I can't wait to get rid of my peppermints. I despise them.

Why do you hate the peps? Mine are sneaky but fun. Also, my pest anemones are gone : )

I have peppermint and cleaner shrimp in my tank with ric's, no problem.

I have experienced a little issue -- not enough for you to not have both though. When I feed the tank, my shrimp will eat everything they can get their hands on, including digging around the rics for food that has fallen into them. I wonder how the rics get an nurishment at all!

Yea shrimps are greedy, but very cool looking. THe rics n shrooms should survive no problem w/o feeding.
