Shriveled up mushrooms and anemones

My mushrooms and anemones have looked sick for a couple of weeks now. The local fish store has been helping me try to solve this problem but I'm not sure if we are on the right track.
Originally we found the PH was low. I have now had it at 8.4 for about a week. Alk is a little low at 7dkh.
The tank is around 7 yrs old, nothing has changed recently, water flow and lighting should be the same as they have been.

Anyone see anything we may be missing? Thanks

Phosphate is around .25
Nitrate is 0
salinity is 1.023-1.024
temp is 76
calcium is around 500

Also, the green tourch seems to be fine, bubble tip seems to be fine. Are the red mushrooms look sick as do all of the rf anemones. There are two small clown fish, various crabs and snails all of which seem to be fine. The tank is a 40g and I just did a 5 gallon water change on Sunday.

I am surprised that no one has shared their knowledge about this matter. Can you attach a photo of the latest tank set-up?

have you added any new bio type media such as marine pure block or balls?

High aluminum can result in soft corals shriveling up. Check your sump to make sure nothing has fallen or any magnets havent rusted. The last thing is to purchase an icp/triton test kit.

How old is your lighting? Maybe it degraded past what they like?

Obviously, something changed that they aren't happy with. If you haven't been doing regular water changes, I would try several 10% changes over a week. Maybe some trace element dropped below what they like.

I would say it's not any kind of pest because they all look that way and not just a few that could have been nipped.

Paint the room? Household spray cleaners used next to the tank? Someone with lotion on their hand reach in there or kids?

If you hadn't cleaned your sand for a long time and then you did... might have released a bunch of bad stuff into the water column.
