Shutting down 125

It is with much regret that I am shutting down my tank. I've fought it for the last three months but am throwing in the towel. Livestock first, of course, then rock then equipment.

Orange Spotted Goby. About 4" long. $25

Pair of Cardinals (only 1 in picture) $40

Pair of Ocellaris. I don't know how to tell if they are mated. One is getting bigger than the other and they are inseparable. They do not host anything. $20.

Purple clam. 5" He has a snail shell stuck to his foot and I didn't want to hurt him so I left it. I've had him for over a year and for the last 5 months he prefers to either lay on his side like in the pic or upright. The white spots are small starfish on the glass. $30

Orange Plate. 3". He seems to not be happy and recede then a week later he has his tentacles fully extended and is fully colored. $25. I will offer a 1 month guarantee on this guy as I'm sure he'll come back.

Green brain. 6" He is not doing well. Half is receding from the skeleton so I want him to get in another tank fast. $15.

Maze coral encrusted on a good sized piece of rock with green and purple coraline. $40

About the only thing that has flourished in my tank are mushrooms. This one is covered in mushrooms that look greenish blue or purple depending on your lights. $40

Also hairy mushrooms. Rock on the left has probably half a dozen. $35. Piece of Fiji rock on right has a couple but is an awesome piece of rock. $35. Hard to see in the pictures.

More to come.

I have three pieces of coral that are great size and deserve a better home.

Large Devil's hand. 7" x 7". He changes color from neon green to brown depending on his mood. He also makes babies. I have three frags available as well. He is solidly mounted to a flat piece of rock. $50

Teddy Bear Crab. $10. May have to wait for the rock.

Tuxedo urchin. $10.

There are other mushrooms as well. Large Brown and green spotted.

A blue bodied coral banded shrimp that I see maybe once a week. $10 but we probably won't be able to get him until the rock is for sale.

Peppermint shrimp. Free to whomever can catch him when the rock is for sale.

Ill take the Green brain. 6" and both hammers

sorry to hear you are shutting down. If you need help let me know

Rock

Rock

All coral with the exception of a few mushrooms are gone so its time to offer more for sale.

Live Rock. $3 per pound. Probably 100 pounds of nice purple rock in my display tank and another 75 pounds or so of rock in my sumps. The rock in the sumps has some coloration but nothing like the display rock.

I still have the urchin, teddy bear crab and coral banded shrimp available.

When the fish are gone (soon) I will have:

125 gallon with dual overflows on a 1 year old black stand. 6' light with (3) 250 MH and (4) T5's. Bulbs are due to be changed. Remote ballasts. Hanging kit and covers for the tank are included. $500

Reef Octopus XS250 (black lid). It has the upgraded impellers so there are no starting issues. Paid $500 will sell for $200.

Older Reef Octopus 100 in sump skimmer. Perfect for >100 gallon tanks. $75.

Reeflo Dart/Snapper Hybrid. Used for 6 months then upgraded to an Iwaki. Paid $300 will sell for $150. This would be a perfect return pump or closed circuit but won't cut it if you have a basement sump.

Bubble Magus Dosing Pump with three containers and an unopened package of additives. Paid $350 will sell for $200.

RKL w/ PC4. $75

RKL w/ PC3....the heater outlet is not working hence the PC3. Comes with pH probe and temp probe. $75.

40 Breeder (not drilled) with Black stand, 36" CF light, overflow box and biowheel filter. A great starter package. $225

75 gallon (thick glass) non-drilled tank on cast iron stand. $75

I'm in Wexford. I can provide pictures but most are available on the net.

Update

Here is what is still available as of right now:

125 gallon with dual overflows on a 1 year old black stand. 6' light with (3) 250 MH and (4) T5's. Bulbs are due to be changed. Remote ballasts. Hanging kit and covers for the tank are included. $500

Older Reef Octopus 100 in sump skimmer. Perfect for ~100 gallon tanks. $75.

Bubble Magus Dosing Pump with three containers and an unopened package of additives. Paid $350 will sell for $200.

RKL w/ PC4. $75

40 Breeder (not drilled) with Black stand, 36" CF light, overflow box and biowheel filter. A great starter package. $225

75 gallon (thick glass) non-drilled tank on cast iron stand. $75

And here is what is new that is available:

I apparently underestimated how much rock I had in the tank and sumps. So there is probably still 150+ pounds left. I found some awesome branching tonga, rocks with caves and shelf rocks. It has mostly purple coralline algae but the rock from the sump produced some nice green colors. Also many rocks have mushrooms. Hairy, dark blue/green and brown. $3/pound

A pair of Vortech MP40W ES. $750. Will not separate. Manufacture date of Sept 2011. They worked flawlessly and are in very good condition.

A pair of Precision Marine SR45 reactors. These things are 2' tall by 3.5" in diameter. 1.5 years old. Paid $100 each and they are now $125 each. Will sell for $75 each.

Equipment

Equipment

No chiller to sell. All I have left is an RKL, rock and the tank set up.

I actually have all the rock left so I would make a screaming deal if someone would take it all.

6' tank with dual overflows, black stand and light for $500.
