all gone but 1 thing

Looks like everything has now been set aside for people who had called. The one and only thing remaining is the Serpent Star.

Any takers?

shutdown completed

shutdown completed

Originally, I was going to reply back to an email I recieved last night, but as I was writting it, it seem fitting that I do it here.

Now that the tank has been shutdown and everything in it is gone. I'm left with just the tank and some stinky water. I wanted to give a final thought and thanks to all the people who came by for the livestock.

I had to shut the tank down pretty quickly. It was sad that I had to break it down, knowing all the effort and money I've put into it, as well as the enjoyment of myself and all the other people who seen the tanks beauty as it matured and grow.

But I also felt a weight lifted because I don't have to constantly worry about the inhabitants, water quality, etc. I guess I'm a worry wort, even as I look at the beauty of the tank, the back of my mind is always thinking what needs to be done. Clipping corals back, fighting algea, etc.

Things always has a way of working out. I know everyone who has come over have great enthusiasm for the hobby. Its nice to have a chance to meet fellow hobbyist.

To all the people I have met. I like to say, It was great to meet you and good luck with your tanks.

One day, I may startup again, but for now, I'll just have to enjoy not worrying about the tank.

Geez, I can't believed I just ranted.

tng2538: Thanks alot!
Great guy, shame to see such a great guy take a time out from the hobby.
Thanks Again!

my pleasure

my pleasure

The pleasure was really all mine, thanks so much. I actually felt a bit bad taking the stuff (just seemed weird to just take 'whatever'); rest assured that the rock, corals, and cleaners you gave me will be well cared for.

When you are ready to enter the hobby again, put up a post - and reminds us all of your kind act. . . so we can return the favor.

best of luck with your move and family.
take care.
David
