shutting down the sump.

I was wondering if it would be a problem shutting down the sump.I will have a new skimmer comeing in next week,and it will not fit in the compartment my skimmer is now.I will be takeing the baffles and moveing them 6''.Would it be down for atleast 36 hrs have any effect on the display tank.TIA.

You should be fine. Just keep plenty of water movement in the tank and keep it oxygenated.

Thanks,I have 2 korailas that I could aim upwards to break the water surface.
