Sicce Voyager - Wavemaker use - Quiet?

Has anybody used the pumps as a wavemeker. I've read that they are quiet (don't click ) and suitable as wavemakers.

I have one on a wavemaker. It is completely silent.

I have 2 in mine on a wave timer, once in awhile you here it click when it comes on. Plus I have a cracking sound I hear echo in the room from them. It almost makes us think our speakers are crackling. But definitely like the movement and seams to be increasing the productivity of my skimmer.

Sounds like Sicce is a solid option in the wavemaker/oscillation game.

I'm looking for equipment that works and is quiet. If the tank is too loud I just won't have one - that's how important noise is to me. The slurp,gurlge,hum and hiss must go

Is your goal a wave or just alternating flow? It is not designed to make a wave but can provide alternating flow. There is a difference, a wave moves the entire water volume in the tank, back and forth, and alternating flow is just that, but the two are not the same.

My sicce are plugged into a coralife timer that you can use for a wave maker. But the quickest cycle is 15 minutes.

You won't get a wave with a 15 minute interval, to create a wave the time is measured in fractions of a second, not a quarter of an hour. What you have is alternating flow, not a wave. Search wave box on YouTube, you will see the difference.

I know that was just saying that is the pattern I had
