Sick Banggai Cardinal

We just got 3 small Banggais a few days ago and they all were looking good until this morning.. We saw one of them just lying on the sandbed breathing hard but not dead yet.. We got him out of the tank and looking at him closer one of his eyes looks like theres blood in it. Any suggestions on how to save him?

sorry to hear about this, i lost two cardinals last week for no apparent reason as well. they never really ate when i got them. are yours eating well ? were they captive bred ?

Is the eye painted red or does it look like it has red squiggly lines in it?

He died while we were at the store.. they hadn't eaten yet but we just went and got brine and mysis shrimp and the other 2 eat them up. The red was thin and on the outside edge. We also found a dead anthia that was swimming fine before we went to the store, we think our blue line rabbitfish might be the culprit..

If you're not using a QT; new fish could bring anything into your tank. Why do you suspect the rabbitfish?

Because both fish were around were around the rabbitfish before they started acting sick and he has been really freaked out and might've been spooked and pricked them. But it could just be a coincidence..
