My tang had a similar problem. A completely bloated belly. He wouldnt eat for a few days. Then one day unexpectedly, he showered the tank with poo! All of the other fish went crazy eating it up. I dont think there is anything to do but hope that it passes on its own.

my fish looked the same awhile back. it looked like it had a big blister on its side....36hrs later it was dead. i would treat it with a broad spectrum antibiotic

Sounds like it could be Dropsy, my tang had it a while back. This can cause kidney failure and is generally caused by poor tank conditions and a bacterial infection. Remedy would be immediate antibiotics for the recommended length of time.
