So I have a CBS in my fuge since I don't want him in the DT anymore and I can't find anyone to take him. He molts regularly and eats and everything is fine. Just now I go to turn the lights back on down there and he's lying on his back next to his molt, possibly dead.
Is he dead/dying or is this just the brutal reality of what goes on when they molt which usually goes unseen? In other words, do they get sick for a moment while they molt?
