Sick Fuzzy - need advice

The clown overall is still acting normally although I did see some twitching at one point. I have not seen that repeated. The white lump is not getting bigger.

I will try and feed the fuzzy frozen tonight and see if he takes it. I have to get him back in the main tank by the 4th of July as I have a business trip and would be terrified leaving him in the QT while I am gone.

He would not take frozen last night. Sigh. Need to find some ghosties as my mollie population is a bit low -- only have adults or itty bitty babies.

Hmm.... I have a new picasso clownfish with basically the same symptoms. He was bloated yesterday and hadn't eating anything that day. He was also fatigued and wouldn't eat. When I first added him to the tank he would eat a bit of the frozen, but he stopped yesterday. He won't go for live brine either. Today he pirked up since I dimmed the halide with a few layers of window screen and he's been swimming around the tank and he ate a bit of frozen rod's with lots of garlic extract. It's good to see that your has been making it for over a week now, and by comparison of the videos he seems to be getting much better. I think mine is recovering too. I wish you luck in recovery of your fuzzy.

What vitamins did you use in the water/food of your fuzzy?

I added Brightwell Vitamin C. He's eaten a small mollie but that's it. I was looking at them last night to see if there's one that I could throw in for him. I am low on males but maybe I will give him one of the small males and just buy and acclimate some more. I think I need new breeding stock! Good luck with your clown!

He's out this morning and looking perkier ...

The clown is all better! You know I cannot tell you how excited I am about this! I helped a fish heal instead of killing it in QT. So it was 28 days of prozi and a week of nothing -- so 5 weeks total in QT. I was watching her this morning and thought -- there's something different! YEA -- no white spot and no lump. Victory!

The fuzzy took some frozen food today for the first time in probably two weeks. He did not seem happy about it but he ate it!

I forget what kind of small feeder fish it is -- like whitebait - something caught here off of the east coast. Pretty oily. And yes Renee! I soaked the food in the Vitamin C before I fed him!

He fed aggressively yesterday so am raising salinity and temperature. I have 4 days to get him back in the DT. Bought them some tuna yesterday...still soaking all food in the Brightwell Vitamin C. Thanks for that Renee.

I have to get some of this vitamin C stuff next time I place an order for dry goods.

Do you dose it all the time...even when your fish aren't sick?

I use it all the time. It's a water soluble vitamin, so you don't have to worry about overdosing like you do with the fat soluble vitamins.

So I was gone all week and came home and the fuzzy looked awesome. His tank was at 1.024 and the main system is at 1.026. I went and looked at the angler and got the shock of my life -- he looked terrible. So I caught the fuzzy and did about a 30 minute acclimate to get him back up to speed and put him back in the DT. He looks great this morning swimming around. The angler on the other had looks absolutely horrible. All of his fuzzy bits are gone, there's some weird stuff covering an eye and his head and he is breathing hard. I put him in the QT, started dropping the temp and the salinity. Added some Vitamin C. He looked so bad this morning I decided to add some Pimafix to the water. I know many believe it is snake oil but it is all I have. It says it will treat fungal and bacterial. I don't know what is going on but it seems as if there is something really funky in my system. I don't know if my little angler buddy is going to make it. This looks bad.
