LFS, if they have a good stock on meds, or mail order via some place like fish pharmacy or Drs. Fosters and Smith.

called my LFS they donot have it. I will have to call some more tommorrow but I doubt they will have it. How long until something like this will kill the fish? Will I have enough time if I order it from Dr Foster's and Smith and get it within the week or will it by then be too late?

Also Bill do you think this might explain why the Gramma has lost the will to eat?

I'd get it sooner rather than later. You also might be able to get it from a vet, as it's used as a dewormer on dogs and cats as well.

good news is I found the Prazi Pro locally. Bad news is I just checked the QT tank and the fish is laying on the bottom taking his last gasps.

Question Bill what is the best way to sterlize my QT tank so that I dont pass on the ICK or the protozean to my next QT inhabitant?

Sorry to hear that. It's unfortunate that fish can't talk and tell us whats wrong since some symptoms don't show up till it's too late As for sterilizing a QT, a little plain old bleach works very well. Just be sure to rinse well and use a little dechlorinater afterwards.

Miraculously, I came home to find him still alive today looking better than this AM. Good thing I picked up the Prazi Pro. I just gave him treatment keep your fingers crossed that he pulls through.

Gramma is still kicking but hasn't eaten yet. He does look better than he did Sunday though.

fish look alot better but still not eating. What else can I do to encourage eating? Doesnt seem interested in brine or mysis soaked in garlic. He hasnt eaten in a week and doesnt look thin

Glad it's looking better. I think right now, it's a wait see thing. As the fish starts feeling better it should start getting interested in food.

Sometimes fish just can't adapt. Every fish is different... Don't be upset either way... You are doing the best you can.. I feed my RG Flakes, BloodWorms, and Mysid Shrimp.. The meaty stuff soaked in Selcon, V-C, and Garlic Extreme....

By the way my Royal Gramma loves flake, have u tried??
