Side by Side Skimmers?

This skimmer on the left is set for wet skimming and the skimmer on the right for somewhat dry skimming.

Just cleaned the skimmers

Here you can see the difference in bubble color between the skimmers

Nice setup Doc! I have enjoyed reading about your project.

I've been wanting to run two skimmers, but I was going to try staggered cleaning schedules, with the of theory having a protein skimmer working at it's prime even when I take one off line for cleaning, I wouldn't expect a huge increase skimate production, just that I think the skimmer function would be more consistent.

Anyway, just thinking out loud, since I will be starting my new reef setup soon, it would be a good time to at least make provisions for an extra skimmer.
