Signs of bengi breeding???

What are the signs of bengi cardinals breeding? I have what I believe a pair, one has seemed to stop eating and seems to have an enlarged mouth 'area'. I believe him to be the male and i believe the males hold the fry.

I have spawned cichlids in the past, but never any marine fish. I got these with all good intentions of breeding them, but now may be in a bit of a panic...

I would have to add that not eating isn't a good sign unless you see the enlarged mouth area.

That said, my male banggai has the telltale signs of the enlarged mouth, stopped eating, and the female does her dance around him a lot.
I will be attempting to lure the fry to LED's to get them out of the DT and into the fuge to raise them.

He did not eat the last 2 feedings and his mouth is enlarged. I wish I knew how long he was holding, now I will be guessing.

He will hold for about 30 days, go ahead and let him tend to them during this time,, if it his first couple of times then he will prob spit them out or swallow them,, it takes time but he will get it right,, trick is to stuff him and her continously,, after 30 days scoop him in a net and he will freak out and spit out miniture cardinals,, brine shrimp is best first foods--- GOOD LUCK JM2C
