I figured I would post a thread up of my current build, and get to know some people on here before I switch over to my new 200g Deep Dimension I am in the process of building.
I have been on some other forums but I have decided to switch over here after talking to a few buddies that have been on here for years.
Anyway! -
My current tank is 125g - I'll be going to a 200g Deep Dimension this spring when I get my basement finished.
Here are some of the pictures of the progress towards the new tank -
These were some drawings I did to help design the basement, although these have since changed and I haven't updated.
Any design ideas or help with setting this up right is welcome!
The tank is now going in the room to the right of the stairs -
This is the entertainment area with a 55" LED and fireplace. The stair walls are going to be cut down so you can see through to the room on the right and the tank.
The tank will be where the dolly is.
The backup electrical will be provided by a transfer switch and generator. It will also run the refridgerator and first floor lighting. It is hardwired to an outside junction box. (so the 20amp 4 prong plug isn't hot anymore - it goes to a box on the outside of the house to connect the jumper cable to the generator)
Here is the jumper cable that goes to the generator on the outside of the house
The tanks electrical will be provided by 2 seperate 20amp dedicated GFCI circuits that I just had installed a couple weeks ago.
RODI is plumbed through the walls from the laundry room on the 1st floor (like my current tank is setup now - which will fill a top-off container underneath the tank)
More pictures to come of the other stuff I have completed here in the last month.
Now I am just waiting on the drywall to be put up, then on to the finish work.
