Silence....Ahhhh!!!

I have put up with the loud humming of 2 (old) aqua medic pumps since I upgraded to a 210 about 3 months ago. I finally decided to upgrade, and man what a difference.

I decided to go with the Reef Octopus Water Blaster HY-7000W. I can not believe how quiet this pump is! It was a little pricey at $300, but I would spend the money again because it is so quiet. It is rated at 1800GPH and is extremely efficient. Reef Octopus also made my Diablo 2500 protein skimmer which I am also extremely happy with! I would recomend this company to anyone who is contemplating upgrades!

Yeah, they are pretty quiet. Im using the 5000 and 3000 on my skimmer. My tank is in-wall so all I hear is a slight hum.

good choices with the 210g tank and reef octopus skimmers. just remember you get what you pay for! i love my reef octopus skimmer. also for your 210g tank i just love that size. the 210 will be my next tank from my 90g but im not going to pull the trigger on the 210 till we move to a nicer and bigger house.

Yeah, I love my 210. It is big enough that I can house most fish, but not to overwhelming. I love it. As far as the Reef Octopus brand, I am a believer!

I have the same pump for a while now, and love it as well. Quiet and low wattage compared to many pumps of its class. Now, if I can adapt a bubble blaster pump for my skimmer, I'd have a super silent system!
