At the frag swap last weekend, someone eluded to the fact that I'm a bit tight with the pictures, lol... so here are a few...

First, a mystery starfish I found last night. I actually saw 2 of them, which makes me wonder how many I really have. Should I be worried?

Now, a rather hungry favia. And to think... about 2 hours earlier he had some mysis.

He's not the only hungry one...

And some zoas that I got from Dave which are doing rather well...

Glad to see the zoas are doing well for you. That Favia is awesome! Is that one of the pickups from Vivid? Keep me in mind if you ever get to the point of fraging.

Yes it is. I think I'm going to start spot feeding it more frequently to see if I can get it to grow faster. I really like it, but it's still really small at this point.

They are all Giesemann bulbs. I've got 3 that are basically their "daylight" bulb (I think that is the PowerChrome AquaBlue and 1 that is their actinic (I think it's the PowerChrome Actinic +).

I want to get another Actinic + and a PowerChrome PureActinic and play around with the combos for the best lighting/color.

Just so everyone is clear... The pictures of the zoas is the only pic that was taken with the lights on. The other pics are with lights off, just the flash on my camera.

Those mini brittle stars are nothing to worry about, in fact I'd say they are a desirable addition to the biodiversity of a tank. I have had hundreds in my tanks for years with no ill effects.

Hey Jackson do you remember exactly what brand and color spray paint you used on the back of your tank. I was pretty impressed with that color when I was there. Looks better in person than in the pics. I’m looking at setting up my 40B and would like to get the back painted soon.

Krylon Fusion, but I don't remember the exact color. I doubt they have many shades of regular blue though.
