single controller (foodtimer issue?)

Hi guys,

over the last weekend i went and bought a nanostream 6055 + a single controller. i noticed everytime i put it on the foodtimer function the powerhead would spin a little every roughly 10 seconds. Im not sure if this is normal but in the instructions it said that its supposed to come back on in 5~8mins but mine never does and jsut continues to spin a bit and then stops every 10 secs any help would be great.

The short spins are what is described as the fish care function in the manual. It is designed to scare fish away from the pump while it is off so they don't enter. The foodtimer delay ranges from 4-10 minutes. The norm is about 5-6 but there is variation. I would wait a full 10 minutes and see if it comes back on.

ah thanks rvitko, it works now but with maybe a 10~15min wait instead of a 5~10mins.
