Single MH and Shading?

Should I be concerned about shaded spots of corals not adequately coloring up in my 45g cube that is lit with a single 150w MH? (20K radium)

I'm considering adding some supplemental lighting in the front and rear to hopefully limit the shaded spots. I'd like to try LED's, but wonder if I'll get the LED's will be adequate to color up the acros.

I currently don't have any acros in there, and want to sort out the lighting before I add them so I don't have to worry about light acclimating them. Is the LED option a good one? Or should I try to take a more traditional approach with PC's? I think T5's are too large for my canopy.

Considering something like this, or even a DIY that I could put the actinics on a dimmer so I can choose my color.

I have a single 400w mh with 4 t5s in the canopy of my 110g cube. Lighting seems good everything is colored and growing.

I have a single MH and as the colonies get bigger you begin to get alot of shading. I wish I had some supplemental t5s or LEDs. Yes, you can get away with just the MH but I think the coral would be better with supps.

I have a single 250w over my 75...everything does fine. But, I don't have any large colonies. Everything is still in the frag-phase, with one makin a break for the "big-time".

I'll upgrade when things start getting more crowded.....dual 250w's would actually be overkill for what I have in there right now.
