siphon break

I drilled a 1/8" hole in the bottom of the 3/4" return locline as a siphon break. Is that big enough to be effective, or should I bore it larger?

1/8" is fine. It's always a good idea to drill at least two on opposite sides in case a snail or other obstruction blocks one of them.

Yeah, I've got the return split into 2 separate loclines, each of which has a hole drilled on the underside.

I may lack versatility and the ability to multitask but at least I have trained my wife to understand that "get me beers" means, buy Torpedoes unless otherwise directed. All you broads should take note :thumbsup:!

just in case you didn't think of it make sure the hole in the return is pointed down i've moved my loclines a few times and when I turned the pump back on a had a little fountain.
