Can someone clarify for me where these holes should be and how they work.I know they go on your durso(i think)and they prevent flooding and such,thanks.
When the power goes out, they wont suck water out of your tank and back into your sump. AGA drilled a small hole in the return line also. It does squirt water when water pumps thru it but very little.
Right, but they are not the end all.
They can get clogged.
Check valves are OK, but also can fail.
Best is return lines high up so siphon breaks early and leave room in sump for that overflow.
